The first trailer for "Aharen-san wa Hakarenai Season 2," the second season of the TV anime "Aharen-san wa Hakarenai," based on Mizu Asato's romantic comedy manga serialized in Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump+," has been released on YouTube. The trailer shows the school life and daily life of the characters from the first season, including Aharenai Reina and Raidou, who have now advanced to their second year of high school, and also shows Aharenai Reina in a swimsuit. A new character, Tamanaha Riku, who looks like a gal but is actually extremely socially awkward despite her appearance, has also appeared.
It was also announced that the music unit "Zutomayo" will be performing the opening theme "Biunema." ACA-ne, who wrote the lyrics, composed the music, and wrote vocals and guitar, commented, "Aharen-san wa Hakarenai is one of my favorite manga, so after hearing about the project, I reread the manga over and over again while creating the song. I've always thought about the immeasurable distance between people, so the process of shaping the image of the sound was also fun. I created the song inspired by the idea that the immeasurable distance allows us to connect with each other and makes us yearn for the heat of frustration. Biunema is a new endeavor, so please look forward to it."
"Aharen-san wa Hakarenai" is a youth romantic comedy that depicts the "unpredictable" daily life of the small and quiet Aharen Reina and her seat-mate Raidou. It was serialized in "Shonen Jump +" from January 2017 to April 2023.
The first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2022. Following on from the first season, the second season will be produced by FelixFilm, with Yamamoto Yasutaka as general director and Makino Tomoe as director. Inori Minase will play Awanari Reina and Terashima Takuma as Raidou. It will be broadcast on TOKYO MX, MBS, and BS11 from April.
