It has been announced that Honoka Inoue will play the main character Anne Shirley in the new TV anime "Anne Shirley" based on Montgomery's masterpiece "Anne of Green Gables". It has also been revealed that Hiroshi Kawamata will be the director and Kenichi Tsuchiya will be in charge of character design.
