Friday Road Show (Nippon TV, Friday 9pm) on January 17th will be broadcasting an extended 30-minute episode of the sixth film in the series, "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" (2009, USA). The three climaxes of the series will be shown for three consecutive weeks.
As the threat of the Dark Lord Voldemort begins to spread to the human world, Headmaster Dumbledore begins private lessons for Harry in preparation for the final battle. Harry learns of Voldemort's background, and from the testimony of Slughorn, who is to teach again at Hogwarts, he learns a clue to defeat Voldemort.
Meanwhile, a "storm of love" is raging at school, Harry falls in love with Ron's sister, Ginny, and Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is on the brink of collapse.
Next week on January 24th, Friday Roadshow will broadcast an extended version of the seventh film in the series, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1" (2010, USA), by 30 minutes.
