"The verdict is announced. The defendant will be sentenced to three years in prison." The verdict was handed down to Shogo, who had been violent towards Aoi (Machiko Ono) and Lion (Tasuku Sato).
"I believe you will be able to walk the right path from now on. Do your best," Shogo said, listening with a serious expression to the judge's words, then slowly bowed his head.
In episode 9, with the sound of police cars rumbling, Shogo is shown gazing sadly at the face of his son as he leaves with Hiroto (Yagira), and Mukai's expression became a hot topic of conversation.
Once again, comments were made on social media such as, "It was good that there was a scene with Tachibana Shogo at the end. I hope he makes amends, reflects on his actions, and is no longer trapped in his home," and "I'm sure he realized the magnitude of what he'd done after parting ways with Lion, and there was a light in his eyes when the sentence was handed down, so I'm sure he's truly remorseful."
"In his current role, there was no light in his eyes which accentuated his fright, but in the courtroom there was a light in his eyes and he seemed positive about life and didn't come across as ominous. He's an incredible actor," "It was a great decision to cast Osamu Mukai," "The casting was excellent," and "Osamu Mukai's likability hasn't decreased. If anything, his acting is so amazing that the contrast has made it skyrocket."
