It has been announced that the second season of the TV anime "Magilumiere Co. Ltd.", based on the manga currently being serialized on Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump+", will be produced. The final episode of the first season was broadcast on Nippon Television's anime slot "FRIDAY ANIME NIGHT" on December 20th, and the production of the second season was announced. A visual announcing the decision to produce the second season, drawn by Aoki Yu, who is in charge of the illustrations of the original work, was also released.
"Magilumiere Co. Ltd." is a work x magical girl action manga written by Iwata Yukika and illustrated by Aoki. Set in a world where natural disasters known as "kaii" exist and magical girls who exterminate them are recognized as a coveted profession, the story follows the protagonist, Sakuragi Kana, who joins the venture company, Magirumie Co., Magilumiere Co. Ltd., as a new graduate and struggles as a working adult and a magical girl. It has been a hot topic, ranking third in the web manga category of the "Next Manga Awards 2022."
The first season of the TV anime was directed by Masahiro Hiraoka and produced by Moe and JCSTAFF. Fairouz played Sakuragi Kana, a new magical girl at Magilumiere Co. Ltd., and Hanamori Yumiri played Koshigaya Hitomi, a senior magical girl who has a rough personality but is caring and teaches Kana how to be a magical girl. The series began airing in October on "Furaani" and the final episode aired on December 20th.
