To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the broadcast of the robot anime "Yamato Takeru" which was aired in 1994, it has been announced that a crowdfunding campaign will be launched to hold select screenings and talk shows. Applications will be accepted on December 19th on "FanBackers".
The screening will feature an episode selected by supporters' vote from the 37 total episodes, as well as a talk show with the production staff and voice actors.
"Yamato Takeru" is a robot anime produced by Nippon Animation that is based on Japanese mythology. Set in ancient Japan, the story follows the protagonist Yamato Takeru and his friends as they control the giant robot Susanoo and fight against enemies that threaten the Earth.
