Aibou season 23:Episode 8 "You in My Eyes" Viewership Rating: 10.4% Kaoru is stabbed!? Ukyo suspects a "connection" to the unsolved case from two years ago

The eighth episode of the popular detective drama "Aibou season 23" (TV Asahi, Wednesdays at 9pm) entitled "You in My Eyes" was broadcast on December 18th, garnering an average viewership rating (according to Video Research, Kanto region, same below) of 10.4% for households and 5.8% for individuals.

"Aibou" is a detective drama in which Ukyo Sugishita (Yutaka Mizutani), a member of the Metropolitan Police Department's "Special Investigation Unit," solves many difficult cases with his partner, using his genius mind to solve his case. Since its launch in 2000, four partners have been created to date: Kameyama Kaoru (Yasufumi Terawaki), Kobe Takeru (Mitsuhiro Oikawa), Kai Toru (Hiroki Narimiya), and Kanjo Wataru (Takashi Sorimachi). In "Season 21," Kaoru, the original partner, returns to the Special Investigation Unit. This marks the 10th season for Ukyo and Kaoru as a pair.

Maria Mori and Raini made guest appearances in episode 8.

In episode 8, Kaoru, a running companion for a visually impaired woman, Airi (Mori-san), is stabbed while running. The crime is thought to have been committed by someone with a grudge against Kaoru, but there are no clues. Ukyo begins his investigation and learns the circumstances surrounding Airi's blindness. Two years ago, Airi was present at the scene of a robbery-murder, and fell down the stairs in a scuffle with the culprit. The case remains unsolved. Ukyo suspects there is a connection to the incident where Kaoru was stabbed... and so the story unfolds.
