It has been announced that the TV anime " The Shiunji Family Children ", based on the manga by Reiji Miyajima , who is also known for " Rent-A-Girlfriend (Kanokari)", will be broadcast from April 2025. The first trailer depicting the prologue of the story of the "forbidden x pure love" romantic comedy about the seven siblings of the troubled Shiunji family, has been released on YouTube.
It was also announced that the ending theme will be "LIKE YOU o (＞＜ ＝ ＞＜) o LOVE YOU?", a character song performed by the five Shiunji sisters. It will be sung by Shiunji Mari ( Chika Anzai), Shiunji Kiyoha (Marika Kono), Shiunji Uuka (Rie Takahashi Rie), Shiunji Minami (Hana Hishikawa), and Shiunji Kotono (Kana Ichinose). A snippet of the song was unveiled in the first promotional video.
The song's creators, Akki, Ginnojo Hoshi, and Shota Horie, commented: "I love the word 'love'. As a family member. As a friend. As a romantic partner... It's a useful phrase that can be used in a variety of relationships and situations, but at the same time, it's a tricky word that can sometimes be hard to decipher. That's what's so fascinating about it. When the Shiunji brothers and sisters use this phrase, what intentions do they have? We all had a lot of fun creating it, using our imaginations (...the instrumentalists are going wild, but of course this is also filled with each of our own 'loves'. Please enjoy!)"
Hoshi commented, "Looking back, as the song is titled Shiunji House, we put together the melody in various ways at the home of Shota Horie, who co-wrote the lyrics, composition, and arrangement, and we recorded instruments in a room in Akki's parents' house; the production took place in places that were an extension of each of our lives. "The Shiunji Family Children" was created with love, using guitar, piano, drums, and bass, and was recorded entirely at home, and I think it's a song that has a handmade atmosphere and is full of surprises and miracles that are not easy to understand. I hope you will look forward to it."
Horie said, "We worked on the production of this song like a lively game of catch. I think it's a song filled with the ideas and expressions of many different people. I hope you enjoy it."
"The Shiunji Family Children " is a romantic comedy about the seven brothers and sisters of the Shiunji family, a family of unparalleled beauty who live in a magnificent mansion in a prime location in Tokyo. Arata, the eldest son who cares for his family, lives a noisy but happy life surrounded by five sisters who are well-known in the neighborhood, but when his father tells him a shocking truth, their lives change completely. The series began serialization in "Young Animal" (Hakusensha) in 2020.
The anime will be produced by Doga Kobo , which also produced "Oshi no Ko ."
