The idol group Sakurazaka46 will be appearing on NHK's music program "Utacon" (General, 7:57 p.m.) on December 10th.
The program on this day is a "Special Feature on Showa-era Pop Songs Favorite by Generation Z," and will feature rare footage of Showa-era pop songs, including Candies, Seiko Matsuda, Akina Nakamori, and other songs chosen by young people on the street and the performers, along with precious old footage. Sakurazaka46 will perform Hideki Saijo's hit song "Galandou" in collaboration with enka singer Keisuke Yamauchi.
Sakurazaka46 and Yamauchi-san participated in the location shoot in Asakusa. They visited a record store and a photo shop that were established over 100 years ago, and experienced the charm of Showa era pop music.
In addition, the seven-member global boy band "INI" will cover "SEPTEMBER" by Earth, Wind & Fire, a classic disco song from the 1970s and 1980s. The promising young enka singer unit "3 Girls Z" will sing "Koi no Fuga" by The Peanuts. Furthermore, Showa era pop and pop group "SHOW-WA" will make their first appearance on the show and perform their debut song "Kimi no Oujisama."
