It has been revealed that actors Yuna Taira and Sayaka Yamaguchi will co-star in "Product Exhibition Woman - Miyazaki Edition" (TV Tokyo, Wednesday midnight 1:00), which will be broadcast for two consecutive weeks on January 8th and 15th, 2024. Taira also starred in the TV Miyazaki-produced drama "Himawari - Miyazaki Legend," and will once again star in a production set in Miyazaki.
A live-action adaptation of Kazuhiro Kuwano's novel "The Woman at the Trade Fair." The film focuses on the profession of a food buyer, who finds local gourmet foods and negotiates with them to open stalls at trade fairs. The entire film was shot on location in Miyazaki with the cooperation of Hyuga City and Miyakonojo City in Miyazaki Prefecture.
Haruka Hasumi (Taira), a food buyer at the department store "Kanetaya," is put in charge of the Miyazaki product fair, a project that the president of the store is very keen on. Despite being plagued by her unenthusiastic junior colleague, Minoru Takagi (Mokushiro Kazuto), she struggles to make the fair a success. Then, in front of Haruka, Kyoko Mikuriya (Yamaguchi), wearing a bright red suit and exuding an overwhelming aura, appears.
