Former TV Tokyo announcer and Reiwa era sly queen Mori Kasumi is the star of the variety show "Mori Kasumi's All Lies TV" (TV Asahi, Wednesday nights at 2:34am). On the late night show on December 4th, Mori was seen driving with comedian Shintaro Moriyama of the comedy duo "Mitorizu" in his Mercedes.
After one day's recording, Mori-san refused to accept a taxi ticket, saying, "This program's budget is at the very limit, isn't it? Please use it for production costs." The staff was worried about how they would get to the next location, but Mori-san asked Moriyama-san, who happened to be passing by, where they were going. When she found out it was the same Odaiba, she begged, "Oh! I'm going to Odaiba too, can I get a ride?" and got in the passenger seat. They ended up going together from TV Asahi to Fuji TV.
In the car, they talked about group dates and the type of person they like. When asked what type of person she likes, Mori answered, "Someone who's always messing around." She smiled and said, "I don't go out on dates because I don't want to be photographed. I can't go anywhere, so I like someone who's fun at home all the time." When asked about her type in appearance, she said, "I really don't have a preference. You can't really know until you kiss someone, right?" and she also mentioned the process leading up to the kiss.
In response to the question "Can you kiss Moriyama?", he replied with a devilish "I haven't received the ES (application form) yet." When Moriyama replied, "I thought I had applied," he looked a little embarrassed as he raised his face in his hands and said, "Phew."
As the title suggests, the show is supposed to be "all lies," but as you watch, you'll find yourself thinking, "Maybe it's true, Kasumi Mori." The show is available for viewing on TVer, ABEMA, TV Asahi Catch Up, and TELASA.
