It has been revealed that actor Haru will star in the Fuji TV drama series "IC: Instant Memory Investigation - Hiiragi Team" (Tuesdays at 9pm) which will begin in January 2025. The detective drama will feature a female detective with instant memory abilities, played by Haru, and will be her first lead role in a serial drama in about two years since "My Wife" (Fuji TV).
The detective drama follows Hiiragi Hizuki (played by Haru), a female detective with an instant memory ability known as "camera eye", as she struggles to solve cases with other quirky detectives while facing a past that she cannot forget even though she wants to. The drama is an original work by Takahashi Yuya, who has worked on "Mountain Doctor" (Kantele) and the "Kamen Rider" series, and will be directed by Sato Yuichi, who has worked on "City Hunter" (Netflix).
Hizuki, played by Haru, is a self-made detective who has risen from the bottom to become the chief of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department's First Investigative Division without a career. She is also called the "Ice Queen" because she is thorough and merciless in her pursuit of criminals and is cold-hearted. However, she has a past that she cannot forget even if she wants to, and she lives her life with the emotional scars. Hiyori is the chief of the "Hiiragi Squad," also known as the Metropolitan Police Department's First Investigative Division, Third Violent Crimes Unit, First Section, which was established as an exception, and the eccentric detectives who gather there also have secrets and past traumas.
