Summary of Episode 7 of the drama "The Reason We Fall in Love"

The seventh episode of the drama series "The Reason We Fall in Love" (TV Asahi, Saturday 11pm), starring Kikuchi Fuma of the three-member group "timelesz", will be broadcast on November 23rd.

In the previous episode, episode 6, Kurosawa (Kikuchi) and Aoi (Kumada Rinka), who had been drifting apart due to a misunderstanding, confirmed their feelings for each other in the bedroom. In episode 7, Kurosawa begins to feel more precious about his time with Aoi than ever before. Aoi feels the same way, and the two spend their days happily, but Kurosawa receives a letter of news. A new test of love stands in the way of the two.

Meanwhile, Sakamoto's (Shigosankake Ryuya) love life also reaches a critical juncture. Ever since his crush Ichikawa Ayaka (Yamazaki Hirona) canceled their date, Sakamoto has felt that she has been acting distant and avoiding him. Unable to sit still any longer as they continue to move closer, Sakamoto finally confesses his feelings to Ayaka. But just then, he encounters Shiraishi (Furuya Ryotoshi) who is approaching Ayaka. The "puppy boy" Sakamoto transforms into a "reliable man" who is like a knight who protects the heroine.

The drama is a live-action adaptation of the manga of the same name by ma2, which won the grand prize in the adult romance category at the "2nd Minna no Oshi Renai Manga Taisho" (2023). Set in an office, it depicts the "pure love of adults" that unfolds between three couples.
