Popular cosplayer Enako will be a guest on the travel show "Google Pixel presents ANOTHER SKY" (Nippon TV), which will air on November 23rd at 11pm. She will reveal her true face as she tours Nishinomiya, Hyogo, which can be said to be her roots.
Enako says she started cosplaying when she was in junior high school. At the time, she kept it a secret from her parents, saying cosplay was "like a hobby that I had to hide even though I wasn't doing anything wrong." She devoted her high school life entirely to cosplay, and a photo taken at Comic Market (Comiket), Japan's largest doujinshi sales event, became a hot topic. Her turning point came when she met the president of her current agency, and the president also served as her manager, and they worked together to get to where they are today.
Enako has always been greedy and obsessed with numbers and results, and now that people are starting to see the work of cosplayers as something "amazing," she says, "More than anything, cosplay is fun." The show will include a visit to the maid cafe where she used to work in her hometown of Nagoya, and she will look back on those days.
