It has been announced that Tamura Mayu, a member of the idol group Nogizaka46, will be appearing as a voice actor in the TV anime "I Left the A-Rank Party, So I'm Heading to the Depths of the Labyrinth with My Former Students (Eparida)." This will be Tamura's first time trying his hand at voice acting, and he will be playing Camerat, a floating, automatic camera magical artifact that records every detail of the Clover party's adventures.
Camerat, played by Tamura, has bat-wing-like parts and can live stream and record while flying around in the air. Tamura commented, "Congratulations on the decision to broadcast! I'm very happy to be able to appear as one of the cast members in such a fascinating work. Camerat is a character who has no lines in the original work, but has been adapted for the anime, so I had a lot of freedom and had fun playing him. I hope that many people will get to know the charms of Camerat. I hope to capture lots of cool Clover on camera, so please look forward to it!"
Additional cast members were announced to include Nakajima Yoshiki as Simon, M.A.O as Jamie, Sekai as Barry, Nanjo Yoshino as Camilla, Koyama Tsuyoshi as Benwood, Kanemoto Hisako as Mamaru, and Hino Satoshi as Saga.
A press conference featuring the cast and theme song artists will be streamed on YouTube from 7pm on November 26th. Appearing will be Mineta Hiromu as Yuke, Inan Uou as Marina, Kawaida Natsumi as Silk, Hieda Nene as Rain, Sekai from EXILE/FANTASTICS as Barry, Tamura as Camerat-kun, Rei who will be performing the opening theme, and Tanaka Yuki who will be performing the ending theme.
The series is a light novel written by Ugai Kosuke and illustrated by Super Zombie, which gained popularity on an online novel posting site. Its comic adaptation has also become popular. The protagonist, Yuku, is forced to leave a top-class party in the adventure world, but suddenly joins a rookie party made up of his former students and takes on various missions in pursuit of his dream... This is a fantasy about conquering a labyrinth.
The anime will be directed by Katsumi Ono and produced by Bandai Namco Pictures. It will be broadcast nationwide on 30 Nippon Television affiliates starting from January 11, 2025.
