The "Wonderful Precure! Special Stage" event for the 21st installment of the popular anime "PreCure" series, "Wonderful Precure!," was held at Nippon Maru Memorial Park (Nishi-ku, Yokohama) on November 10th, with singers Yoshitake Chihaya, Ishii Ami, Ushiromoto Moeha, Cure Wonderful, Cure Friendy, Cure Nyami, and Cure Lilian appearing. The event was held as part of the "Live! Yokohama 2024" event currently being held in Yokohama, and when the PreCure and Yoshitake appeared on stage, children erupted in cheers.
The event began with Yoshitake singing the TV anime's opening theme, "Wonderful Precure! evolution!!" Next, Ishii and Urimoto sang the first season's ending theme, "FUN☆FUN☆Wonderful DAYS!", while Yoshitake and Urimoto sang "Happy≒Future", the ending theme for the latest movie, "Wonderful Precure! The Movie! A Thrilling Adventure in the Game World!".
Yoshitake, Ishii and Urimoto also performed "CLAP & CHANT! ~Ainouta~". This was the first time the three sang the song together, and the crowd was thrilled.
Finally, the Precure girls gave a lesson on the choreography for the second season's ending theme, "Shiawase Evolution". Yoshitake, Ishii, Urimoto and the Precure girls performed a dance inspired by dogs and cats with the children who had gathered at the venue.
Urimoto smiled and said, "Thank you for a fun time!", while Ishii said happily, "It was so much fun meeting everyone!" As the latest movie version depicts scenery in Yokohama, Yoshitake commented, "I'm so happy to be able to sing in Yokohama, where the movie is set!"
The motif of "Wonderful Precure!" is "animals," and the keyword is "Everyone's friends! Wonderful!". Set in Animal Town, a city where animals and humans live together in harmony, the story depicts the deep bonds that are woven between animals and humans, such as dogs and their owners, and cats and their owners, and interactions that transcend species. It is also the first time in the series, which began in 2004, that a "dog Precure" will appear, which has been a hot topic.
Maria Naganawa will play Cure Wonderful/Inukai Komugi, Atsumi Tanezaki will play Cure Friendy/Inukai Iroha, Hayate Matsuda will play Cure Nyammy/Nekoyashiki Yuki, and Reina Ueda will play Cure Lilian/Nekoyashiki Mayu. The show airs every Sunday at 8:30 a.m. on ABC TV and TV Asahi.
