The fourth episode of the drama series "The Travel Nurse" (TV Asahi, Thursdays 9pm), starring actor Okada Masaki, will air on November 7th. Shiramoto Ayana will guest star.
One day, two patients, Saito Shiori (Sendo Atsuko) and Shinomiya Sakura (Shiramoto), are admitted to a large room at Nishitokyo General Hospital. In the same room is Yotsuya Junko (Nishio Mari), a "monster patient" famous for being a frequent complainer. On this day, she begins to harshly scold Nakamura Yuzuko (Morita Nozomi), a rookie nurse who is having trouble drawing blood.
Although fellow nurse Park Yi-jun (Kim Hyung-yul) tries to calm her down, Nasuda Ayumu (Okada), a travel nurse who can't stand Junko's excessive behavior, gives her a straight-up complaint, adding fuel to the fire. Shizuka Kuki (Kiichi Nakai) intervenes and somehow manages to settle the situation, but Junko's anger towards Ayumu does not subside.
Meanwhile, an anonymous comment is posted on a hospital review site, naming and slandering Ayumu by name. The comment says that he has "tricked a patient to death," something Ayumu has no recollection of.
Just then, something that should never have happened occurs. Shiori, who ate the food Ayumu had given her, begins to suffer from a food allergy attack. He had checked it carefully before distributing it... Ayumu is flustered by this unexpected situation.
The drama is a sequel to the same-named work that aired in October 2022. Written by Nakazono Miho, known for the "Doctor-X: Surgeon Daimon Michiko" series, the quirky duo of Ayumu, a "nurse practitioner" qualified to perform certain medical procedures, and "super nurse" Shizuka Kuki (Nakai), put patients first and reform the medical field.
