It has been announced that "Fujiko F. Fujio ga Ita Fukei" (Shogakukan), a book tracing the artistic career of the late Fujiko F. Fujio, known for the popular manga "Doraemon", will be released on November 29th. This book marks the finale of the project commemorating the 90th anniversary of Fujiko's birth, which began in December 2023, and delves into Fujiko's true face and footprints from various angles.
It contains a chronicle that chronologically introduces the process of the creation of the works, new interviews with people involved who were aware of the time, and valuable original drawings including notes on the concept of the works. It also includes an interview with Fujiko himself talking about the background to the creation of the works, including the "25th Anniversary Interview of 'Doraemon'" published in the September 1994 issue of "Shogaku Gonensei" (same publisher).
