"Chiikawa Aiueo Karuta" (KADOKAWA), a set of karuta cards featuring illustrations of characters from Nagano's popular manga "Chiikawa", went on sale on October 23rd.
The front of the picture cards features a character, while the back features the order in which hiragana is written, as well as katakana and romaji. The reading cards have original rhythmic sentences written on them, allowing players to learn letters and words while enjoying the cute illustrations. In addition to karuta, there are four other games to play, including a word-making game using the letters on the picture cards and a number-sorting game using the illustrations on the back of the reading cards.
The price is 1,760 yen.
