The 38th episode of the 21st installment of the popular anime series "Pretty Cure!", "Wonderful Pretty Cure!", "Komugi's Hometown," will be broadcast on ABC TV and TV Asahi at 8:30 a.m. on October 20th.
One day, while Komugi was playing at the dog run, a woman named Yuki, who was visiting the animal hospital, called out to her, "Marron-chan." Yuki volunteers to take care of animals whose owners can no longer keep them due to illness or injury, and says that Komugi looks just like "Marron-chan," who went missing two years ago. In a photo that Yuki had, there was a puppy with a heart pattern on the back of its head, just like Komugi's. After hearing Yuki's story, Iroha calls out to Komugi, "Let's go see our previous family."
The next day, Komugi and her friends arrive at a nursing home surrounded by nature. Encouraged by Yuki and Mayu, who accompany them, Komugi and Iroha head to the park. When the two arrive at the square, they see an old man named Kurihara spending time with a golden retriever therapy dog. With a gentle smile on his face, Kurihara calls out to Komugi, "You've grown so much."
The motif of "Wonderful Precure!" is "animals," and the keyword is "Everyone's friends! Wonderful!". Set in Animal Town, a town where animals and humans live together in harmony, the story depicts the deep bonds that are woven between animals and humans, such as dogs and their owners, and cats and their owners, and the interactions that transcend species. The series, which began in 2004, is also attracting attention for featuring a "dog Precure" for the first time.
Maria Naganawa will play Cure Wonderful/Inukai Komugi, Atsumi Tanezaki will play Cure Friendy/Inukai Iroha, Hayate Matsuda will play Cure Nyammy/Nekoyashiki Yuki, and Reina Ueda will play Cure Lillian/Nekoyashiki Mayu.
