Popular group "AAe! group" and Kansai Johnny's Jr. member Takuya Nishimura appeared at the fashion and music event "Rakuten GirlsAward 2026 SPRING/SUMMER," held on April 18th at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium No. 1 (Shibuya Ward, Tokyo). They appeared as secret guests whose appearance had not been announced beforehand, and were met with loud cheers from the audience.
The five appeared on a special stage for the second live-action film in the "Mr. Osomatsu" franchise, "Mr. Osomatsu -san: The Human Scum Turning Project!!!!!?" (directed by Taisuke Kawamura, released on June 12th). They appeared in the hairstyles and costumes from the film and struck the "Sheeeh pose" at the top of the runway.
"Mr. Osomatsu" is an anime based on Fujio Akatsuka's gag manga "Osomatsu kun," produced in 2015 to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Akatsuka's birth. It depicts the daily lives of six brothers who are in their early twenties, lazy, unemployed, but somehow lovable.
The first live-action film, starring the popular group "Snow Man," was released in 2022 and became a hit. In this second installment, Yoshinori Masakado, Seiya Suezawa , Ken Kojima, and Masaya Sano from " AAe! group ," along with Richard Keita Kusama and Nishimura, will play the six lazy, unemployed twins.
During a talk segment where they reminisced about the filming, they were asked to perform a one-liner joke. Hiroko Nagahama, also known as "Ohinasama," who was the guest MC for the event, nominated Seiya Suezawa, who was wearing a red outfit, saying, "I'll do an impression of someone slamming on the brakes!" and proceeded to perform an impression.
GirlsAward started in May 2010. Models, actors, and other performers walk the runway in the latest fashion trends, and special stages are held for Fuji TV's Getsuku drama "Saba-can, Going to Space," among others. Idol groups such as Nogizaka46 and CANDY TUNE also perform live.
