The first episode of the TBS Sunday drama "GIFT" (Sundays at 9 PM), starring actor Shinichi Tsutsumi, aired on April 12th. Miyashita, played by Yamada, is a former star player for the Blaze Bulls who has lost his luster and now works in the welfare department of the city hall. In high school, he was the captain of the soccer team. He dedicated himself to soccer with the goal of competing in the Inter-High School Championships, but a traffic accident left him confined to a wheelchair.
The Blaze Bulls faced the formidable Sharkhead in the Wheelchair Rugby Japan Championship. Miyashita, full of fighting spirit, skillfully maneuvered his rugby wheelchair, scoring the opening try and contributing to the team with fierce, spirited tackles.
