The NHK Asadora drama series "Bakebake ," starring Akari Takaishi , aired its final episode on March 27th (NHK General, Ushimizu -Saturday 8:00 AM, etc.), bringing the six-month story to a close. A comment from Tommy Bastow , who played Lefkada Heaven ( Ushimizu Amezumi), the husband of the protagonist Toki Amezumi (Takaishi), has been released.
" Bakebake" is based on the lives of Setsu Koizumi, the daughter of a fallen samurai family in Matsue, and her husband, Lafcadio Hearn). It depicts the story of a heroine who loves ghost stories and lives an ordinary life with her foreign husband.

Thank you for watching until the very end. Before it started, I said, "If you don't keep watching, I'll come back as a ghost," but so many people watched that it looks like I won't have to come back as a ghost after all (lol).
The scene that remains most vivid in my memory is the one with Toki right before Heaven dies. After that scene, when Heaven passed away, I felt as if a part of myself had disappeared.
On the other hand, the moment we wrapped up filming, I felt a sense of accomplishment, like I had finished a marathon. I think I'll start feeling the bittersweet emotions next month.
I'm so happy and grateful that we were able to film in Japan for such a long period of time, and that it turned out to be such a wonderful piece of work. I would love to meet you all again in Japan.
