It has been announced that the Gundam Astray Red Dragon, a Gunpla model that appears in the spin-off of the anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY ASTRAY R, will be released as the "RG 1/144 Gundam Astray Red Dragon" from Bandai Spirits' "RG" series. It will cost 4,950 yen.
The Caletvwlch, flight unit, Dryg Head, and other parts are reproduced with new molding, and can be recombined into the original weapon forms of the "RG" series. The Caletvwlch transforms into Ambidextrous Halberd, Build Cutter, and Cannon Mode. By using universal joints, it can be recombined into a form where the Build Cutter and Build Knife are combined into three parts. Newly designed realistic decals are included.
Pre-orders will be accepted from noon on November 26th on Bandai Namco Group's shopping site, Premium Bandai. Shipment is scheduled for February 2026.
