It was revealed on November 10th that the average weekly viewership rating (households) for the sixth week of " Bakebake " (NHK Asadora TV, Monday to Saturday 8am and others), starring Akari Takaishi, titled "Where, What, Hell?" (November 3rd to 7th) was 14.9% (calculated from Video Research, Kanto region).
" Bakebake" is the 113th morning Asadora. Based on the story of Lafcadio Yakumo Koizumi(Lafcadio Hearn) and his wife Setsu, the story follows a couple, with a love of ghost stories, as they go about their everyday lives together with their foreign husband. Takaishi plays the main character, Toki Matsuno, while Tommy Bastow plays Toki's husband, Lefkada Heaven.
In the sixth week, Heaven (Tommy Bastow) holds his first lesson. With Nishikori (Ryo Yoshizawa Akari Takaishi) is confronted by Zentaro (Miki Maehara), the son of debt collector Moriyama, who declares that he will collect the debt more aggressively than ever before.
Meanwhile, Heaven decides to leave Hanada Inn and start living on her own, and Nishikori, under orders from the governor (Sano Shiro), begins searching for a maid to take care of Heaven.
Nishikori asks Toki (Takaishi) for a job that fits Heaven's request for a daughter of a samurai family to be a maid, but Toki, suspecting that she will become a highly paid maid, or in other words, a Western concubine (=rasshamen), turns down the offer.
A few days later, Toki comes across Tae (Keiko Kitagawa), who has become a beggar. He also reunites with Sannojo(Rihito Itagaki). Toki learns how Tae and Sannojo, who had supposedly left Matsue, have returned, and on his way home he sees Tae begging again...
