He must have been scared since then, and the more time passed, the more scared he became, getting irritated, angry, saying unreasonable things, screaming hell, hell... Professor Heaven is a human being, just like us... He's not a tengu, or an ogre, or a kappa. Why don't we just leave him alone for now?"
However, Nishikori opens the sliding screen door and shouts at Heaven to get out, to which he replies, "Reporter Heaven!" Nishikori has been told by Governor Eto (Sano Shiro) that Heaven is not a teacher, but a newspaper reporter who became interested in Japan after reading the Kojiki and came to Japan to write an account of his stay.
While Heaven was holed up in her room, she was studying Japanese hard, and Nishikori told her, "You don't need Japanese. You don't need educational language. Everyone is waiting for you to speak, for yourself. If you still need help, I'm here." When Heaven asked, "Am I... okay?" Nishikori replied, "I'm waiting for you." Heaven seemed relieved and muttered, "I'm hungry. I'm hungry."
