It has been announced that the second season of the TV anime "The Returnee's Magic is Special," based on the smartphone-optimized manga "SMARTOON," will be broadcast in 2026. A new trailer depicting Desire's fierce battle has also been released.
The story is about Desir Armand and his friends who face off against the Dragon of Ruin, Boromir Napoleon, the final boss of the Shadow Labyrinth in the Shadow World, an alternate dimension, but the world is destroyed and they are sent back to the world of 13 years ago... Desir returns to his alma mater, Hebrion Academy, the empire's top magic school, for the entrance ceremony, and reunites with his friends to change the future and save the world.
The first season of the TV anime aired from October to December 2023.
