Asadora"Bakebake" introduces snakes and frogs

The NHK Asadora drama series "Bakebake " (General TV, Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM) starring Akari Takaishi will begin airing on September 29th. The story follows a married couple, with the heroine, who loves ghost stories, as they go about their everyday lives with her foreign husband. Here, we introduce the "Snake and Frog" role, performed by the comedy duo "Asagaya Sisters."

" Bakebake" is the 113th morning Asadora. The heroine, Toki Matsuno, and her husband, Lefkada Heaven, are based on Setsu Koizumi, the daughter of a fallen samurai from Matsue, and Lafcadio Hearn(Yakumo Koizumi ). The drama boldly reconstructs the characters, changing some of the names of characters and organizations to create a fictional portrayal.

The story is not based on an original novel, but is an original work by screenwriter Fujiki Mitsuhiko, who has worked on NHK's drama "Asagaya Sisters' Relaxed Life" and WOWOW's "Shooting Break Series." The music will be composed by Kensuke Ushio, who has also worked on TV anime " Dandadan" and "Orb: On the Movements of the Earth (Chi: Chikyu no Undo ni Tsuite). " The theme song has been decided to be "Waratta Korondari" (Laughing and Falling) by the male-female duo Humbert Humbert.

The snake and the frog live in the garden of Toki and Heaven's house and watch over their every step.

Asagaya Sisters' Eriko Watanabe plays the snake, and Miho Kimura plays the frog. This is their first time appearing in a Asadora.
