Mitsuki Takahata appears in Ginza wearing jewelry worth over 150 million yen

On September 18th, actress Mitsuki Takahata appeared at the opening event of the Ginza 4-chome boutique (Chuo Ward, Tokyo) of French luxury jewelry brand Cartier. She wore an all-black outfit and wore necklaces, brooches, and other jewelry totaling 153,252,000 yen. Takahata married actor Masaki Okada last year and announced in July that she is pregnant with her first child. Her belly appeared to be slightly plump.

When asked about her thoughts on the jewelry, Takahata smiled and said, "It's so shiny I don't know what to do (laughs)." She also wore jewelry with a panther motif, and said with a smile, "Wearing the panther makes me feel like I have an animalistic 'wild instinct.'"

Cartier's Ginza 4-chome boutique opened on September 19th. The four-story boutique will be the first in Japan to feature a "residence" on the top floor, complete with a bar and dining area. Works by Japanese artists will be exhibited throughout the boutique, which will be the largest in Asia. Takahata commented, "The wall art made with washi paper that you see as you enter is very impressive, and I thought the design, which is a wonderful blend of Japanese and Western styles, was wonderful."

An event was held prior to the store's opening, and featured appearances by Yamaguchi Tomoko, Uchida Yayako, Toda Erika, Kento Kaku, Issei Takahashi, Tamamori Yuta, Ayami Nakajo, and Kiyohara Kaya.
