Former figure skater and TV personality Mai Asada appeared as a guest on Abema's variety show "Hyena of Love Season 4" on Getsuku, where she talked about her experience at a host club.
On this day, the sixth episode of the popular program "Yamamoto Yusuke Becomes a Host. A Tasty Club Reform Edition" aired, in which actor Yamamoto Yusuke goes to a host club for a trial shift and follows him closely. Asada, who watched from the studio, said that he is from the same Aichi prefecture as Yamamoto, and that "I once sent a fan letter to Yamamoto together with a friend from my hometown."
He also revealed that he went to a host club in Aichi Prefecture with a friend when he was in his 20s, saying, "We even went back to drinking," and "I couldn't find anyone I liked."
Asada, who watched the hosts' battle, spoke about her time as an active skater, saying, "Everyone was a rival," and "Only the top three could go to the world championships," and also touched on her rivalry with her sister, Mao Asada. "We were quite competitive," she said, "We competed in the same competitions, so if we had a fight in private, my mother would say, 'You have to settle this fight at the next competition!' That fuels my competitive spirit and makes me work hard at practice."
