The fourth episode of the TV drama series " Ubai Ai, Manatsu " (TV Asahi, Friday 11:15pm *excluding some areas), starring actress Marika Matsumoto , was broadcast on August 15th (starting at 11:45pm on that day).
◇The following contains spoilers.
The drama is a new installment in the "Ubai Ai" series, written by Osamu Suzuki. It tells the story of Umino Manatsu (played by Matsumoto) who falls in forbidden love with Sorachi Taimu (played by Ken Yasuda Ken), a married company president who looks just like her ex-boyfriend, despite her conflicted feelings.
Manatsu and Tokimu confirm their feelings for each other at an abandoned school and share a passionate kiss, but they are seen by Tokimu's wife, Mirai (Maryjun Takahashi).
In episode 4, an angry Mirai launches a counterattack. In a taxi, she forces Manatsu and Tokimu to play a tongue twister about kissing, and the three of them have a sea bream shabu-shabu dinner. She then summons Manatsu to a cafe, where she passionately improvises an angry song while strumming the piano. To top it off, she forces Manatsu, who works at Tokimu's company, to write her resignation letter.
While it seems like an episode about a future revenge, a shocking truth is revealed at the end. It turns out that Hikuma Motoya (Shirahama Alan), a cheerful and cheerful former subordinate who continues to have a crush on Manatsu, is actually a "hidden stalker" who secretly lives in the room next to Manatsu.
Manatsu has no idea about this. In next week's episode 5 (broadcast on August 22nd), when she goes to an amusement park with Motoya, she bumps into Tokimu and Mirai, leading to a "hellish double date." Also from episode 5, Kikuchi Momoko will appear as Yamagami Yoshiko, the mother of Mirai and Hanabi (Mori Kasumi). Just like her daughters, she is a quirky character, and she adds fuel to the escalating drama.
