Miss Magazine 2024 Special Program "Fiction File: Why Did Marie Asamiya Disappear?" Broadcast

It has been announced that a special program featuring six members of Miss Magazine 2024, "Fiction File: Why Did Asamiya Marie Disappear?", will be broadcast for two consecutive weeks on BS-TBS at 11:30 pm on August 23rd and 30th.

The members of Miss Magazine 2024 visit Hokkaido for a project by the manga magazine "Young Magazine" (Kodansha), and during the shoot, they encounter a strange coincidence in which they are asked in different locations the name of a mysterious idol named "Asamiya Marie" who suddenly disappeared. In order to turn this coincidence into a TV program, the six members return to Tokyo and begin investigating "Asamiya Marie." The more they investigate, the deeper the mystery becomes, and it becomes clear that something "strange" has appeared in a photo in the magazine, which will be released on August 18th. The members begin to suspect that there may be some connection between the "strange thing" and "Asamiya Marie."

The film is directed by Junya Hirata of "Curse of the Apocalypse," Kenji Murakami of "Kaidan Shin Mimibukuro: Onigikomi Theatrical Version," and Kotaro Terauchi of the YouTube channel "Fake Documentary Q."

The program will feature Grand Prix winner Hazuki Claire, Miss Young Magazine winner Yamamoto An, Miss Weekly Shonen Magazine winner Hanashiro Nao, Reader's Special Award winner Omoi Kanara, and Special Jury Award winners Onishi Haruha and Furuta Ayane. Hazuki commented, "It was a very confusing program for both me and everyone else. I think it will be an exciting and thrilling program."
