On July 7th, it was announced that the new travel show by the popular group "Snow Man", "Traveling with Snow Man" (Nippon TV, Kanto local), will be broadcast on the same day and distributed worldwide on Disney Plus. The key visual was also released.
The program is a "Japanese archipelago crossing travel documentary" in which the nine members travel from Okinawa to Hokkaido, focusing on the spectacular scenery, gourmet food, and people of each region. With the theme of "One for Snow Man, Snow Man for One," the "tenth member," an AI-like robot called "Tabi," will record the laughter and tears, the bonds and determination, and the real expressions of the members.
The released key visual was taken in Okinawa, the destination of their first trip, and shows the members enjoying the ocean of Okinawa after the rain that had been falling until the day before had stopped. The left half is an illustration, featuring nine snowmen with scarves of different colors wrapped around them on a refreshing mint blue background.
The first episode will feature footage of the nine members going shopping in Okinawa, going for a drive, relaxing at a hotel, and enjoying a barbecue together. There will also be a surprise gift for each member from Hikaru Iwamoto.
Each episode is 30 minutes long. The first episode will be broadcast on July 27th from 4:25 to 4:55 pm. Disney Plus will exclusively stream the complete version, including unreleased scenes, to the world from 5 pm on the same day. It will also be available on Hulu and on TVer for catch-up streaming.
The broadcast schedule for Episodes 1 to 10 is as follows: July 27th (Episode 1), August 10th (Episode 2), September 7th (Episode 3), September 14th (Episode 4), September 21st (Episode 5), September 28th (Episode 6), October 5th (Episode 7), October 19th (Episode 8), October 26th (Episode 9), November 2nd (Episode 10).
