It has been announced that the elusive comic book adaptation of "Super Dimension Fortress Macross II -LOVERS AGAIN-," an OVA (original video animation) from the popular anime series "Macross," will be reprinted after about 33 years. The manga, illustrated by Tsuguo Okazaki, was serialized in a special issue of "Weekly Shonen Sunday" (Shogakukan) from May to December 1992, and a new edition will be released on August 27th.
The OVA "The Super Dimension Fortress Macross II -LOVERS AGAIN-" was released in 1992 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the birth of "The Super Dimension Fortress Macross."
The new edition will be re-scanned from the original manuscript and reprinted using the latest digital technology, and will also include rare color illustrations that were originally published in the series.
