The Apothecary Diaries: Special Program Released Just Before the Climax

The June 20th broadcast of the TV anime " The Apothecary Diaries ", based on the light novel by Natsu Hyuga , which was born from the novel posting site " Shosetsuka ni Naro ", will be suspended due to scheduling reasons. Instead, a special program just before the climax will be streamed on ABEMA at 10:30 pm on June 20th. The special program will feature Aoi Yuki , who plays Maomao , Takeo Otsuka , who plays Jinshi , Asami Seto, who plays Kosui, and Kaori Nazuka, who plays Suirei.

The light novel version of "The Apothecary Diaries" is published by Hero Bunko (Imagine Infos), and the comic adaptation is also gaining popularity. The original series has sold over 40 million copies in total. The story is set in a glamorous harem on a certain continent, where a poison taster girl named Maomao and the handsome harem manager Jinshi become embroiled in an incident that occurs in the harem, which is full of conspiracies and rumors. The first season of the TV anime aired on Nippon TV from October 2023 to March 2024.

The second season is currently airing on Nippon Television's anime slot "FRIDAY ANIME NIGHT (Fura-ani)". There are only two episodes left of the second season, and the final episode will be broadcast on July 4th.
