The Gundam model kit "HG 1/144 Rick Dom Gaia's/Ortega's (GQ)" from the latest installment of the popular anime "Gundam" series, "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX," was exhibited at the model exhibition "63rd Shizuoka Hobby Show" (sponsored by the Shizuoka Model Teaching Materials Cooperative) currently being held at Twin Messe Shizuoka (Suruga Ward, Shizuoka City).
The product's name was kept secret - "HG Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuX New Product E (tentative)" - but it was also announced that it was a Gunpla of Gaia's/Ortega's Rick Dom, which became a hot topic. It can be transformed into a highly mobile form without any parts replacement. It comes with a giant bazooka and a movable grip. Lead wires are used for the electromagnetic hooks. The Shizuoka Hobby Show is an exhibition that has been held since 1959 in Shizuoka City, where many model makers' factories are located. This year's show will be held from May 14th to 18th, with the 17th and 18th being open to the public. Advance registration is required for admission.
