It has been announced that the music video for "ETERNAL WIND ~Hohoemi wa Hikaru Kaze no Naka~," a song by singer Hiroko Moriguchi that will be included in "GUNDAM SONG COVERS -ORCHESTRA-," a spin-off of the "GUNDAM SONG COVERS" album series that covers songs from the popular anime "Gundam" series, will premiere on YouTube at 9 p.m. on May 20.
The song was released by Moriguchi in 1991 as the theme song for the animated film "Mobile Suit Gundam F91." No music video was made for the song at the time, so after 34 years, the first official music video will be released. The song will be available digitally on May 21.
The final chapter of the "GUNDAM SONG COVERS" series, "3," was released in 2022, but in response to calls for an encore, a spin-off with the concept of "Hiroko Moriguchi x Gundam Song x Full Orchestra" will be released on June 18th. The Japan Pops Orchestra (Tacticato Orchestra), formed by young musicians active both in Japan and abroad, will cover a total of 10 songs, including self-covers of Moriguchi's signature songs "Ai wo Komete Mizu no Hoshi e" and "ETERNAL WIND ~Hohoemi wa Hikaru Kaze no Naka~," in orchestral arrangements.
