Hiroki Tominaga, who finished his first season in the NBA with the Indiana Mad Ants, a G League team in the lower division of the NBA, will appear as a guest commentator in the NBA Basketball Playoffs Western Semifinals, Nuggets vs. Thunder, Game 7, which will be broadcast live on WOWOW on May 19. This will be Tominaga's first time appearing on a WOWOW NBA broadcast.
After graduating from high school, Tominaga went on to college in the United States and played in the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) tournament. In his first year as a professional this season, he played in 14 games, averaging 5.4 points per game. He also participated in the G League All-Star Game in February of this year.
"NBA Basketball Playoffs Western Semifinals Nuggets vs. Thunder Game 7" will be broadcast and streamed live on WOWOW Live and WOWOW On Demand from 4:15 a.m. on May 19th.
Tominaga will also be participating as a special guest at WOWOW's NBA talk event "Real Chit-chat ★ 2024-25 Season - Playoff Edition," to be held at 7:00 pm on the 18th at LOFT9 Shibuya (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo).
Tominaga commented, "My first season in the G League towards my challenge to the NBA has come to an end, and I have returned to Japan temporarily.
