The NHK Asadora drama series "Anpan " (General TV, Monday to Saturday at 8:00 am and others), starring Mio Imada , will enter its sixth week, "Pain or Love", on May 5th.
" Anpan" is based on the married couple Takashi Yanase(1919-2013) and Nobu (1918-1993), the manga artist and picture book writer who created "Anpanman." It is a "story of love and courage" that will make you feel the joy of living, depicting how these two, who were once nobody, overcame all sorts of rough seas to become "Anpanman," the embodiment of "unreversible justice."
In the sixth week, Takumi Takumi Kitamura, who has entered Tokyo Higher Arts School, spends exciting days with his new friend Kentaro (Fumiya Takahashi) under the guidance of Haruto Zama(Koichi Yamadera Fumiya Takahashi), a design teacher with an unconventional and free-thinking style.
At the same time, Nobu (Imada) and Usako (Sara Shida), who are in their second year at a women's normal school, are being taught the spirit of loyalty and patriotism by Kuroi (Kumi Takiuchi), who is putting more effort into teaching them. While Usako is becoming more and more fascinated by Kuroi, Nobu is having a hard time accepting it.
