It has been announced that the second season of the TV anime "Tondemo Skill de Isekai Hourou Meshi", based on the light novel by Ren Eguchi, which was born from the novel posting site "Shosetsuka ni Naro", will be broadcast on TV Tokyo from October. A teaser visual depicting the main character Mukoda stuffing his face with gyudon has been released.
A teaser PV was released on YouTube, showing Dora-chan, a pixie dragon who becomes a familiar and new companion to Mukoda, lured by the smell of his cooking. It was also revealed that voice actor Ayumu Murase will be playing Dora-chan.
Murase commented, "When I saw the original work and the first season, I felt that it was a work that would stimulate my stomach, making me think, "It looks delicious! It makes me hungry!", and at the dubbing site, I often found myself licking my lips (in my heart) like Uncle Fer at the incredibly delicious-sounding monologues delivered by Mukoda, played by (Uchida) Yuuma, which were full of emotion. With Dora-chan joining the party, the Mukoda party will be even more lively, so please support them."
"Amazing Skills: Another World Wandering Meals" is a story about an ordinary office worker, Tsuyoshi Mukoda (Mukoda), who is summoned to another world and uses his unique skill, "Net Supermarket," to order products from his original world. The light novel is published by Overlap Novels (Overlap). The series has sold over 8.5 million copies in total.
The TV anime will be produced by MAPPA, which has produced "Jujutsu Kaisen" and "Chainsaw Man." The first season aired from January to March 2023.
