It has been revealed that the play "Heibon Punchline: Wife is miracle - The hottest wife in the world," which will be performed at the Honda Theater (Setagaya Ward, Tokyo) on June 25th by screenwriter Kudo Kankuro and actor/director Kino Hana, will be streamed live on PIA LIVE STREAM and streaming+.
Heibon Punchline is a planned performance conceived by five actors from the theater company Otona Keikaku - Ikezu Sachiko, Ise Shima, Shishido Miwako, Nekobe Tsubaki, and Nakai Chisato - and they participated in the production from the start. Miyato created a relationship diagram and profiles based on the characters requested by the five. From there, the five fleshed out the characters themselves, and Miyato further added color to the stage composition. This is the first installment.
This performance will feature Jiro from the comedy duo "Sisonne" as a guest and will depict the dazzling story of five brides and their husbands set in a rural town in Tohoku. The performance period is from June 19th to 29th. The play will be written by Miyato and directed by Kino. Kino won the 30th Yomiuri Theater Award for Outstanding Director for the 2023 stage play "Like Asura."
The live broadcast will start at 6:00 PM on June 25th. It will also be available for viewing as an archived broadcast until 11:59 PM on July Getsuku. The ticket price is 3,800 yen and will be on sale until 8:00 PM on July Getsuku on PIA LIVE STREAM and streaming+.
