The long-running talk show "Tetsuko's Room" (TV Asahi), hosted by Tetsuko Kuroyanagi, will air a special episode entitled "Exhilarating! A Toast to 'Female Friends'" on April 17th at 1pm.
The show will broadcast fun girl talk between three unlikely pairs of friends: Kishi Keiko and Kusabue Mitsuko, Nakao Mie and Wada Akiko, and Hokuto Akira and Tsuji Nozomi.
Kishi and Kusabue have been friends since their teenage years. The two, who are polar opposites in terms of personality and lifestyle, talk about the secret to their long-lasting friendship. Nakao and Wada, who were previously rumored to be at odds with each other, confess the truth behind the rumors. They also chat with Kuroyanagi, but things get out of hand... Hokuto and Tsuji became close friends despite the 20-year age difference. There is even a scene where Tsuji tearfully expresses her gratitude to Hokuto.
