The first episode of the drama series " Taigan no Kaji ~Kore ga, Watashi no Ikiru Michi~ " (TBS, Tuesdays at 10pm), starring actress Mikako Tabe , was broadcast on April 1st. Tabe's role as Murakami Shiho, a full-time housewife who struggles with childcare and housework, became a hot topic on social media.

One day, Shiho notices that her neighbor Reiko's ( Noriko Eguchi) son, Atsumasa, is playing alone on the balcony. Reiko is unable to enter the room, but Shiho sees Atsumasa playing engrossedly on the luggage on the balcony. It seems as if he might fall off the balcony at any moment.
That day, Shiho had just seen the news about a three-year-old boy falling from the fifth floor of an apartment building, and her blood pressure rose as she thought, "Is this the one I saw on the news this morning?"
"Hey hey hey, hey hey hey!" Shiho called out to Atsumasa in a loud voice. "Don't climb up there. Let's get off!" she admonished. However, Atsumasa called her "auntie" and she was taken aback, "Oh, auntie... auntie!?" It was the first time in her life that someone had called her "auntie."
Meanwhile, Atsumasa's dinosaur toy falls off the balcony. Seeing Atsumasa leaning forward to grab the toy, Shiho desperately suggests, "Ah! Wait, wait, wait, wait! Let's play a game! I'll count to 10. If you stay still during that time, Atsumasa wins!" Shiho goes to Reiko, who is standing in front of the entrance with a troubled look on her face, and tells her, "Atsumasa is on the balcony!" and immediately returns to the "scene."
Suppressing his fear, he climbed the wall to the balcony of Reiko's house and managed to secure Atsumasa, escaping unharmed.
On social media, there were many comments such as "Tabe-chan's brightness and cuteness are the best," "I love the Mikako Tabe(lol)."

The original work is the novel "Taigan no Kaji" (Kodansha Bunko) by Akeno Kayoko. The drama depicts the "endless work" of housework through interactions with "people on the other side" who have different positions and ways of thinking than the protagonist. This will be Tabe's second time starring in the same time slot, five years after "My Housekeeper Nagisa-san" (2020).
