Hinatazaka46 Sakura Matsuo:New member of the 5th generation, 19-year-old from Kanagawa Prefecture, releases newly taken photos and handwritten profile "I hope to be a source of support and happiness for everyone"

Newly taken photos and a handwritten profile of Sakura Matsuo, a 5th generation member who will be joining the idol group Hinatazaka46, have been released.

Matsuo is 19 years old, born on June 8, 2005, and hails from Kanagawa Prefecture. In his profile, he wrote, "I will do my best, never forgetting my gratitude, to be able to support everyone and be a reason for their happiness."

The 5th generation members were selected to join Hinatazaka46 after auditions were held in August last year. Eleven members passed, but one declined, leaving 10 in the end. Starting at noon on March 24th, new photos and handwritten profiles were released every day for five consecutive days at noon.
