Newly taken photos and a handwritten profile of Nina Sakai, a new 5th generation member joining the idol group Hinatazaka46, have been released.
Sakai-san was born on March 14th, 2009 and is 16 years old. She is from Kanagawa Prefecture. In her profile, she wrote, "I will do my best to grow as quickly as possible and become a valuable member of Hinatazaka46!!"
The 5th generation members were selected to join Hinatazaka46 after an audition held in August last year. Eleven members passed, but one declined, leaving just 10 in the end. The oldest is 20 years old, and the youngest is 15. The average age is 17.9 years old.
Starting at noon on March 24th, new photos and handwritten profiles will be released every day at noon for five consecutive days. She will also appear at the "6th Hina Birthday Festival" live concert to be held at Yokohama Stadium (Naka-ku, Yokohama) on April 5th and 6th.
