88-year-old entertainer Sandayu Dokumamushi will be appearing on Kuroyanagi Tetsuko's long-running talk show "Tetsuko's Room" (TV Asahi), which will be broadcast at 1:00 pm on March 19th.
Dokumamushi and Kuroyanagi were close friends with Nobuyo Oyama, who was well known as the voice of "Doraemon" and passed away last September at the age of 90, from the early days of television. At Oyama's wedding, Dokumamushi hosted and Kuroyanagi attended. They talk about many memories with precious photos from that time.
Oyama was not blessed with children, losing her first child to a stillbirth and her second child prematurely at three months old. However, she loved children. She will also talk about the caregiving of her husband, actor Sunagawa Keisuke, who continued to support Oyama as she suffered from dementia in her later years. In addition, a recording of Oyama's voice delivered to Kuroyanagi during her battle with dementia will be made public.
