It has been revealed that the ATP Challenger Arizona (starting March 12th) in which tennis player Kei Nishikori will compete will be live streamed on WOWOW On Demand. All matches in which Nishikori will compete will be streamed.
Nishikori started the season well, finishing as runner-up at the ATP 250 Hong Kong, then advanced to the second round at the Australian Open for the first time in four years, and defeated Great Britain in the men's international team tournament, the Davis Cup. After a tough schedule that saw him travel to the United States immediately afterwards, he lost in the first round at the ATP 500 Dallas and ATP 250 Delray Beach. After a three-week adjustment period, he advanced to the second round at the ATP Masters 1000 Indian Wells, which is currently being held.
This will be his first time competing in a Challenger tournament since winning in Helsinki last November, and his opponent in the first round will be L. Nardi, who he played against in the final. Other players scheduled to participate include 18-year-old Brazilian rising star J. Fonseca, who won the ATP 250 Buenos Aires this month, N. Borges, ranked 36th in the world, and J. Struff, ranked 46th.
