A logo has been released to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the anime adaptation of GA Bunko (SB Creative)'s popular light novel "Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon (DanMachi)" by Fujino Omori. Following the conclusion of the fifth season of the anime, "DanMachi V: The Fertility Goddess Arc," the original author, Omori, wrote a letter.
"DanMachi" depicts the adventures of a young boy named Bell and his friends in a huge city with a large underground labyrinth. The first season of the TV anime was broadcast from April to June 2015, and the ribbon on the goddess Hestia's costume became a hot topic on the Internet, where it was dubbed "that string."
The second season of the anime aired from July to September 2019, the third from October to December 2020, the fourth season, "New Chapter: Labyrinth Arc," from July to October 2022, and "Deep Chapter: Calamity Arc" from January to March 2023. The spin-off, "Sword Oratoria," was also made into an anime and aired from April to July 2017. The fifth season began airing in October 2024.

Freyja, the goddess who appears in Norse mythology, gives "love" to many beings and is loved by many people, but perhaps she has never fallen in love? That's how I initially interpreted her when I was researching the mythology.
Even though we are capable of loving and being loved, is it really possible to have never experienced love?
Maybe.
Because she is a goddess who is more selfish than humans, somewhat handicapped, and has to love everyone. Maybe somewhere along the line, she has forgotten about the notion of caring about one person in particular, like we did when we were in middle school.
Freya means "love" and Syl means "romance".
"The Tale of Syl" is about Freya, who had long been tired of love, but then falls in love.
That is the current "Goddess of Fertility" episode.
That's what I think.
Well, in short, it's a story about a First Love Monster who hasn't fallen in love in a billion years going on a rampage, but Matsuoka-san, who looked like he was in pain the whole time, did a great job.
Both Ishigami-san and Hikasa-san were amazing monsters. Thank you very much!
Jokes aside, I'm very happy that "The Story of Syl," which has been running since the first season of the anime, has been able to end in such a wonderful way.
