A soft vinyl figure of Burning Godzilla, who appeared in the 1995 film "Godzilla vs. Destroyah," will be released as "GVA-BC Godzilla 1995 Frog Tree Ukiyo-no-E (Black)" (Plex).
This is the latest in the Godzilla Art soft vinyl project "GODZILLA VINYL ART," a collaboration between soft vinyl artists active in Japan and around the world, and the sculpting unit "FrogTree" has arranged Burning Godzilla in an ukiyo-e style. With a shape that seems to have come out of a picture scroll and delicate coloring, the soft vinyl has been infused with a Japanese essence. A green "GVA-BC Godzilla 1995 Frog Tree Ukiyo-no-e (Green)" will also be released. Each will cost 40,000 yen.
Reservations will be accepted from 1pm on March 10th on Bandai Namco Group's shopping site "Premium Bandai". Shipment is scheduled for June.
