A new series by Osamu Akimoto, known for the popular manga Kochikame, titled "TimeTuber Yukari," began in issue 7 of Grand Jump (Shueisha), released on March 5. "TimeTuber Yukari" is a one-shot series that has had four chapters published so far since its first chapter was published in issue 17 of the magazine (released on August 2, 2023), and the first volume of the comic was released in November 2024. The fifth chapter, published in issue 7, has been serialized irregularly since then.
"TimeTuber Yukari" is a story about a high school girl named Yukari who lives in the present day, who one day travels back in time to the Showa era with the power of a mysterious mechanical device called "Deus Ex Machina" and solves various problems... In the latest episode, she goes on a great adventure in search of the first Licca-chan doll in order to repay her father's debt.
The same issue also featured a 21-page special one-shot of the "Kochikame" special edition. The mysterious connections of Ryo-san, the representative of the common people from the downtown area, are revealed, surprising even Nakagawa, the president of a large company, and Reiko.
